In September of 2026, for the ELEVENTH time, Sunset Piano placed over a dozen perfectly tuned and maintained grand pianos in the San Francisco Botanical Garden for its biggest event of the year, Flower Piano ®. Flower Piano may be the world’s only interactive music festival. Anyone can come and play a fine grand piano under the open sky. About 130 individuals and ensembles, representing some of the best professional musicians in the bay area, share the Garden’s 55 acres with everyday superstars who come to play, frolic, and enjoy the music, nestled in the glorious flora.

Flower Piano is a collaboration between Sunset Piano and the SF Botanical Garden. Flower Piano is free with regular admission to the Garden, ticketed performances with food and beverage options are available in the fabulous Flower Piano Lounge.
