Flower Piano IV : SF Botanical Garden, July 5-16, 2018

Sunset Piano, in partnership with San Francisco Botanical Garden, will once again bring over a dozen grand pianos to the spectacular 55 acre Botanical Garden in Golden Gate Park for the fourth incarnation of our interactive music festival, Flower Piano. Pianos are placed in beautiful garden settings for anyone to play, with performances by brilliant local musicians scheduled on weekends. Over forty thousand people experienced music of every genre from both sides of the keyboard in 2017, and celebrated human civilization at its best. Flower Piano is free to SF residents with ID, and only $9 (the regular Garden entry fee) for non residents.  NightGarden Piano (July 12, 13, and 14), a fabulous night time ticketed event with adult refreshments, snacks, outrageous lighting, and Sunset Piano performers, has expanded this year from one night to three! Tickets available here: NightGarden Piano Tickets

See the video ('way down below) for some Flower Piano highlights, and check out the Garden's Website for more information. Here is this year's schedule of outrageous performers, the most diverse group of musicians and genres we've ever had. This schedule will continue to evolve right up to Flower Piano, so stay "tuned"!   [Photo L-R:  Brendan Lange, David Möschler, Mauro ffortissimo, Allison Lovejoy, Dean Mermell @ Flower Piano II, July 2016]
